For skirts, dark plaid wools and other heavy materials are both practical and hip, especially if they have box pleats. Plaids also are the perfect fabric for a conservative cut pant with a natural waist. Just with the men’s trousers, a generous cuff can pull together an entire look. On especially chilly days the couture houses prescribe a double-breasted, full-length coat with fur trims or details. The great thing about this kind of overcoat is that if it’s classic enough, it won’t ever go out of style.

The fashion industry has given the American public so much to look forward to this fall, and with so many great options it’s hard to pick favorites. There is one thing for certain; the colors of the season are gray, gray and gray.”

Much to look forward to there. I cant wait for it to get cold now. I am the biggest fan of tights out there in the world- and now Im told I should pair them up with a new fur- well thats all of the confirmation I needed (well I suppose I didnt need any confirmation- but thats not the point.) So- now I have to truely decide which of the many varieties of fur I want…chinchilla (cant do that… we have a pet chinchilla), fox, rabbit, bobcat…? So many choices so little time.
